A tough weekend for the Thompson fam. But also a great weekend of celebration for Paul and Patty who are in a much greater place now.
To my uncle Paul – you are one of the strongest men I’ve ever known. Your unwavering faith and dedication to the Lord is an inspiration to all of us to live a happy loving life. Every time I got off the phone with u I knew u could do better with my walk with God and always felt so inspired. It made me so happy to know I made u proud when u would stay up late and watch our games all the way in Freeport. U will be greatly missed. Love u uncle.
To my aunt patty – I will miss our phone conversations that lasted hours even if I didn’t want them to lol. U made everyone laugh and u could always see the bright side in any situation. To be a proud black woman from Nassau and graduate with ur masters from Boston U in the early 70s is unbelievable! But that’s how strong willed and minded u were, a true inspiration. Love u patty were gonna miss u so much.
I could go on and on about both Patty and Paul cuz they were that special. Sending my condolences to Kim, Kimo, Kariel, Kori, Izzy, Quincy, Luke, Rylee, the Thompson fam and everybody who was impacted by these 2 amazing people.

I just read this tribute to your uncle Paul and aunt Patty and it brought me to tears, what beautiful words, your incredible family have raised an incredible young man, it was very touching to hear you speak about your faith in God and the impact your uncle has had on you with his unwavering faith in our Lord.
