Yoel’s style is to do nothing 90% of the fight while relying on occasional bursts of world class athleticism. And the one aspect he’s truly great at he rarely uses and when he does it solely to score points for a TD. He’s a perfect example of why folk style is better than pure freestyle for mma aspiring wrestlers.

IF Yoel had a better coach/trainer. Times would be so different. He’ll be the champ. Regardless he’s the champ. Everybody is scared of him. Nobody wants to fight him head on. Everybody tries to counters. Fighters that fought him can tell you. He’s a literal soldier.

Romero should have won the split RD 1 2 for Whitaker RD 4 5 for Romero and the RD 3 possibly for Romero or the fight should have just been a draw if anything .. a lot of Rob's strikes were blocked when you go back and watch

This is why Rob couldnt eat a shot by Izzy.Fighting this kind of fights with Yoel twice back to back,the damage was to big.I mean same thing happened to Miocic from Ngannu and next fight he got KOed by a not that powerfull fighter.No offence to DC but noone can much Ngannu in power.
