Esparza won because of the takedowns and takedown defense otherwise Michelle easily outclassed her with the striking

Well deserved win
Regardless of the decision, this “fight” was terrible to watch. Looked like a 3 round sparring session.
Lies
There were multiple times where in the third round, Esparza got Waterson against the cage and flurried her with shots that were landing, while Waterson was able to run away because Esparza would land shots and then not continue for whatever reason. I literally just watched the fight.
