This is why he massively fell in the draft… he's not that good, he has really poor accuracy and he over relied on his arm strength in college.
Trash
Carr drives the AFC
We got sum for Mahomes this year
Don't judge too much on a rookies first game, judge him when he still performs this way after like a year or two lol
I dont think he is bust but I think he needs to develop a lot cause that was not a good game from him. But I can see being a NFL starter in the later half of the season
Has the potential to be a young cam or russ
Meh would be too kind…
Esta perdido no me gustó
yea hes a bust
Lammar Jackson can pass the ball much better than this but gets way more criticism, tf.
His mechanics are off
He throws like he's playing all madden
He looked a little scared and in to much of a hurry…hopefully he will get better
It’s bro first game relax watch when he get use to the league it’s wraps #notmyteambutdontdoubt
Not much accuracy. And some passes that endangered his receivers. I did see a nice pass dropped
What this doesn’t show is all the times he took a sack or got hit because of either A, not stepping up correctly in the pocket, or B the O line sucking. Or both A and B. Flacco better be making quick throws early and often or he will be getting sacked like Siemian.
Everybody saying : "oOoO iTs OkAy ItS jUsT hIs FiRsT gAmE!"
But when Daniel Jones play in his first game, regardless if he does good or bad, will still be hated for no reason.
I see Jay Cutler 2.0 and that’s not a good thing.
He sucks
He sucks, all I saw were a bunch of incompletion.
He looked like a rookie making his first start. The guy only throws 11 passes because they were focusing on the run first. Aaron Rodgers couldn't find a rhythm throwing 11 passes so the kid needs time.
One games says nothing but ball placement is really bad at least in this one game…
Huge disappointment
He spent most of College just chucking it deep. This will take time.
Kurt Benkert played much better. I don't get the favoritism being shown to this other guy Lock, who clearly under-performed in comparison to Benkert.
The mid/deep ball at 0:13 should have been caught. The receiver/RB was just slow and didn't get to the ball. It was a 2017 7th round pick RB #33
Khalfani Muhammad. A WR would have had that for 6. In both instances down the right sideline he put the ball where only his WR could get it. His only BAD throw was at 0:06 .
He went 7 of 11, (63.6%), with a drop on a good pass, at 1:28, which would have been a huge gain as there was no defender in position to stop him. Watch the Falcons safety cover into the middle of the field. No one was there to stop him after the catch, (if he had actually held on). If the ball had been caught as it should have been, he would have been 8 of 11, (72.7%), no INT's and maybe a TD. That's not bad for your 1st NFL game. 1 rush for 6 yards is a positive as well. No man open, pick up 6 with his feet. I like that. The kid has a lot of potential. He should sit for at least a full season. But when his time comes I believe he will be a very good QB. Only time will tell though.
For a sec I thought it said drew luck
Man what's wrong with this dudes mechanics? Seems like everything hahah
That was bad. Definitely wouldn’t call those highlights.
Missing wide open throws sucks for the broncos
He made alot of the right reads but couldn't complete them. If he didnt overthrow half his receivers then maybe these highlights wouldn't be so bad
Garbage
Bunch lob pass he need throw them bullet but I do see potential he just need to work hard in his passing game and he we'll be good
Wonder how much of a chance Brett Rypien has. 4 YPA not so great but throwing the winning TD never hurts.
You've got a lot of work to do Drew. Get to it
How dumb people in a comments section can be never ceases to amaze me
Here is the next peterman
He really likes to overthrow the balls
Meh
This wasn't even that bad. It was not great, but not bad. People were just waiting to pounce and hate on this man. He is a rookie in his first ever NFL action. He will be better next game. And he will be the starter by game 12-14
He seemed to make good reads, just had happy feet. If he can get that coached out of him, everything will improve
who was hyping this guy? Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder?!
He seems like he might turn out good.
He is the next Aaron Rodgers
So many of us are throwing him to the wolves already? Wow. Many of us could not throw our way out of a paper sack. I'm for giving him a shot to see how he handles it. Let's give him that much.
Another bust in the making .. Elway doesn't know how to pick QB.
He just needs to work on his accuracy in general
This is a bad game, okay. But once he finds the accuracy, phew.
Damn this guys got no talent
Where y’all haters now since he’s 4-1 over flacco lol
So to all those people saying Flacco's job is safe, where is Flacco now?????
