Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense only had 40 plays in the Super Bowl. Scoring 28 points in 40 plays against the best defense in the Super Bowl is not a choke. Matt didn't really get help blocking, especially on third downs, where they went 1-8. But that 1 was a touchdown on 3rd and 9. Besides that he got sacked a lot, and didn't have opportunities because of the Patriots controlling Time of Possesion the whole second half. If we win the coin toss in OT, we win that game, and nobody can say he choked, but since he didn't win, that doesn't make it his fault. Kyle Shannahan was the play caller, not Matt. So when Kyle wanted to pass instead of run in the second half, Matt trusted him that he's making the right choice because he a has been right all year long. But then all of a sudden, Tom Brady made the impossible comeback, and kudos to him. He earned that one, they won the game in 5 quarters which is unheard of, and they won fair and square. What is there left to say anymore?

Matt Ryan incredibly overrated all year long. He had a great year, but he should not have won all 3 offensive awards.

Just venting here, but Matt Ryan did not choke. Poor play calling and missed opportunities by the Falcons against a very well adjusted Pats defense led to fast turnovers.

The throw in the Super Bowl to Julio over the receiver is one of the best throw I see all year. Should've been at least his top 3 throw this year.

People talking about how the Falcons blew the lead…not only were we playing the number 1 defense but also playing "the goat" so you all are basically telling me you all lost doubt in "the greatest team in the NFL" and we would've beat them if Kyle would've made us run the ball. If Matt Ryan can keep up this level of play for 6-7 seasons and win a ring or possibly two, and then he should be a first ballot for the hall of fame.
Say what you will, Matt Ryan was still the best Quarterback in the league this year. Look at his stats, and it's not even close. There a reason he won MVP.

As a SeahawkFan and a EaglesFan, I do have Empathy for Matt Ryan even though he didn't win the superbowl, He had a great team, but wasn't a great leader.
