That saints defense was pure sadness. Most likely would have made a push to the playoffs with at least a mediocre defense.
I went to this game as a Saints fan with my mom. She had predicted two things about the future for both of these teams…
1.) She said Michael Thomas could be the best receiver in franchise history and one of the best in the league in the future (that’s now true wether you like it or not)
2.) She also said that she was impressed by the Falcons offense, but she noticed the Falcons began blowing the lead at the end of the game. She said she didn’t trust them with leads and basically said she wouldn’t be surprised if they blew a big lead to a more “quality” team in the playoffs. AKA 28-3.
She is a wizard. Also Who Dat.
