Ray Borg is known as a back specialist and throughout the three rounds he has shown his grappling technique by transitioning to side mount, full mount and especially taking the back. Borg dominated most of the three rounds with a slight scare in the 2nd round where Louis Smolka was attempting a leg lock. Later on the break after the second round, the corner of Borg was talking about his ankle feeling broken. Louis Smolka mostly wasn’t able to do anything and could have been submitted as he was locked on a side mount choke by Borg.
