Saints history is divided before and after this game.
That commentator was savage lmfao just start listening around 10:22 in the 3rd quarter you’ll see what I’m talking about
Gleason's blocked punt gives me chills every time
My goodness Sean Payton looks soo much younger..
13 years ago wow
Goosebumps. Every. Single. Damn. Time.
My throat is still sore from screaming all game
1:06 Kickoff!
Man I’m a huge saints fan from Mississippi and the hurricane hit the gulf coast hard and I remember watching this game while rebuilding my house it was very emotional
man look at all dem white boys on the saints D !!
2006 is the Saints Rebirth Season.
Greatest saints game in history. Even over the bowl.
Watching this now u gotta remember saints sucked then everything changed. Now the saints are one top teams to beat today.
I think that this game was more than a historical moment, this was one of the most significant turning points in NFL history.
??????????
After Katrina, the Saints were never the same.
They started winning a lot more
2006: "Most significant game in New Orleans Saints history"
2009: Hold my beer.
It didn't matter who the Saints played that night they didn't stand a chance
2nd best Saints game behind the Super Bowl ??
Okay. The Superdome holds about 70,000 fans. About a million people said they were there. I WAS THERE. Walking into the stadium felt surreal because I thought it might not happen again. And my brother and I looked at each other when the punt was blocked in silence amidst the volcanic eruption of noise,as if to say, "Did that REALLY happen?"
This is coming back on ESPN T O N I G H T ! 2020 . No talk about Corona for a few hours !
#whodatnation !
You could've bet every dollar you had and borrowed against your house in order to bet the Saints to cover. It was virtually guaranteed money. No way the Saints were losing or barely eking out a win. I would've bet my life savings on it and my house.
Espn tryna air this now and it’s on YouTube very good
Look how young Payton looks
Spike a saints fan
I remember this so well, it was such a great experience. And I'm not even a Saints fan! LOL
And Drew Brees is still around.
Rigged more than the WWE.
It's so weird that for as popular and exciting a game as this is in our memories that there were no touchdowns scored for the final 47:54 of game time.
36:16 Spike Lee managed to do an entire documentary about noo OR linz but still pronounces it noo or LEENZ twice in 10 seconds.
It's actually bright in their wow usually be dark lighting
Even Fred Thomas trash ass played like lockdown corner that night and shut down Roddy White. Lol. The defense was just too much for Vick and the falcons. Coming from a saints fan. Jason David, Fred Thomas, Corey White are one of the worst Saints CBs in saints history.
Reason why Mike Trico is one of the GOAT announcers
I know a lot of people believe that this game was fixed….but lets face it, when have the Falcons ever shown up for a big game and won?? NEVER!
Did anyone notice Fajata stripped the ball from Vick the play before the blocked punt which should have ending in a scoop and score?
This is why is hard to be a falcons fan
