Manchester United is very clear about the future of Cristiano Ronaldo amidst the rumor that Real Madrid is offering the Old Trafford boys £35million for the services of the 21-year old superstar.

Chief Executive David Gill said they are shooting down any offers made for their Portuguese player because they are not like banks that need to keep the money. Money for the club is useless without any replacement of the same or higher caliber than Cristiano.

I am against giving up Cristiano for any price because he is young and a superstar player who is already playing on the same level as the veterans.

The money from Real Madrid wouldn’t be any use unless they catch more in return of the money and the only way they are giving up Cristiano is through a direct player transfer or a third team which could give Manchester the money and the player in return.

Getting both would be difficult and Ronaldo is great but he isn’t in the league of Diego Maradona to command such price; and if so, I seriously doubt Manchester United is giving him up.

Verdict: Manchester is Keeping Cristiano Ronaldo for at least 3 more years.
